Troop 101 is a scout-led Scouts BSA troop in Inman Park, Atlanta. We camp every month, we run our own program, and we have been building leaders for decades. Visitors are always welcome at a meeting.

Ways to help →In Scouts BSA, the youth run the program. Our scouts elect their own senior patrol leader, plan the year's outings, teach each other skills, and cook their own meals in patrols. Adults are trained, present, and responsible for safety, but the plan belongs to the scouts.
That is what makes the program different from a class or a team. A scout learns to lead by actually leading, and by occasionally learning from a plan that did not survive contact with the weather.
A typical Troop 101 year includes backpacking on the Appalachian approach trails, climbing and shooting sports at Bert Adams Scout Camp, biking the Silver Comet, a family ski weekend in North Carolina, conservation work at Woodruff, a winter camp, and a week of summer camp.
