Several roles are open, including successors

The Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, Charter Organization Representative, and Treasurer positions are all seeking successors, and a number of coordinator roles are unfilled. If you have been thinking about stepping up, this is the moment. See how to get involved →

Adult Leader Training

Every registered adult leader must complete Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT). Position-specific training is available and encouraged, including Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS), leadership training for your position, and Hazardous Weather. The Atlanta Area Council runs these courses locally; the troop's own IOLS weekend is scheduled for September 12–13.

If you have questions about an adult leadership position or would like to shadow a current leader before committing, reach out to any scoutmaster or committee member.
